Huawei Cloud's embodied-AI cloud platform, providing robots with large models and services hosted in the cloud.

CloudRobo is a cloud platform for embodied AI from Huawei Cloud, reportedly unveiled at Huawei's 2025 developer conference. The idea is to move part of a robot's “brain” into the cloud: the platform offers embodied-AI-related models built on Huawei's Pangu large model (reportedly spanning data generation, task planning, and action execution), along with services for data synthesis and simulation-based training, with robots connecting to the cloud through a connection protocol Huawei has proposed. For robot manufacturers, a platform like this lowers the barrier to building their own large model and compute stack; the tradeoff is dependence on network and cloud service availability, and any control loop with tight real-time requirements still has to be handled on-device.
